Welcome to The Junior Webmasters International Challenge 2009

 Who can participate?

  • All Teams must have at least 2 students enrolled at the same school.

  • Home school students may negotiate their entries with the Project Manager at Gigglepotz.com.

  • Each Team must have ONE Support Teacher who may help with technical problems and ensure the dates are adhered to. All Registrations must be received by January 1st, 2009. Final Judging will take place in June, 2009. Winning entries will be announced via email and listed on this page.

  •  Prizes : 1st prize - $100, 2nd prize - $75, 3rd prize - $50.

  • The Web site must be researched and planned by the students only.

  •  The Support Teacher must be a teacher at the school and may NOT help with any of the research or design of the web site.

  •   Each school may sign up as many Teams of students as it likes.

The Website must contain:

  • The Topic - 'Kids 4 Peace'.

  • The student's first names ONLY or a Team Name, School name and Support Teacher's name.

  • Evidence that the Team collaborated during the Project.

  • Research findings must be presented in text and image format.

  • An 'About Us' page, introducing the Team and the school.(Please note: No identifying information is to be included)

  • A link back to The Junior Webmasters International Challenge for Students site:

  • An email link to the Team or Teacher

  • Refer to the Help section, if more information is needed.
