Connected Classrooms is a school project that allows classrooms to connect with other classrooms from all around the world. Teachers may register their class below to begin the project.
Where are the Classrooms from?
Teachers from all over the world will be able to register to participate. A world map will be provided that allows teachers to see where the Connected Classrooms are located. Contact is made via email between teachers initially.
How do I register for Connected Classrooms?
Registration is free, and teachers may register here. All registrations are verified before information is accepted in the project.
What projects can I do with my Connected Classroom?
Students will gain so much from connecting with other classrooms from all around the world. You can begin projects that compare life-styles, traditions, festivals, currency, food, dress, schooling, etc.,
If you are doing a project on China, why not connect with a school in China?
If you are learning about the Australian aboriginal people, why not connect with a classroom in Australia who can tell you all about their history?
The possibilities are endless. Set up a Skype meeting and students can interview each other to learn more and grow in awareness of other people.
