Writing Assignment - Write a Biography
	What is the Assignment?: You are to write a Biography about a real person. The person can be living or not, but must have had a special influence on other people. The person can be someone in your family, a sports person, a celebrity, a neighbor, or anyone you would like to write about. The Biography must contain : A Beginning - introducing the person (Name, Birth date, Early Life and the reasons you are writing about the person.) A Middle - Write about some Highlights of the person's life. How did this person influence others? What were the beliefs this person had? An Ending - Explain why you wrote about this person and make conclusions about this person's life. You will need to know a lot about the person you choose to write about. You may use books, the Internet or talk to someone to get more information. REMEMBER : Please plan your Biography before you begin writing. Write down some important facts about the person and key words that you are going to use in your story. After writing the first draft, ask someone to proof read your work. Check spelling and punctuation. Also, remember to vary the beginning of your sentences. Think of some new and exciting ways to begin sentences.
