A Checklist for New Teachers

THIS WEEK : Devising a Schedule.

Hello, Thanks for dropping by. I'm so excited about my new teaching position. I'm glad you can follow with me, this exciting adventure called 'Teaching'!!

Where do I start? Yes, it is exciting to think of a class full of kids keen to learn, but as I've been told many times, all the planning before the kids enter the room, is what will make my role as teacher, enjoyable and most effective.

I have devised a Schedule, below for my 4th Grade Class. I have an emphasis on Reading, so the students will be engaged in structured and unstructured Reading activities.

Would you like to comment on my Schedule?

Do you have some great ideas to share with new teachers like myself?

Go to Our Forum and make a comment, share an idea or just say "hi".
