Introduction

In class we have read Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice
Sendak. This webquest will let us explore Max and the wild
things some more by creating our very own wild things
stories!

Task

By using your predictions, your job will be to create your
very own wild things story!
You will make a comic strip to show your understanding of the
story Where the Wild Things Are.

Comic Strip Planning

You will need to construct two short comics. The first comic will be
of your original predictions and the second will be a recreation of what
actually happened in the story.
Use the comic strip planning sheet to come up withideas for your comics.

Evaluation

Students' comic strips will be evaluated to see if each comic
strip contains their predictions before they read the book and after
they read the book.
Comic strips must reflect predictions as well as a clear
understanding of what actually happened in the book.

Conclusion

Once our comic strips are complete we will share them with the class in a
grand conversation. Let the wild rumpus begin!
